Roger’s Corporation’s Power Electronics Solutions (PES) will be speaking and demonstrating their latest thermal management solutions at a booth at the upcoming SPIE Photonics West Conference and Exhibition on February 13-18, 2016 in San Francisco.
“Photonics West is the world’s largest event for lasers, photonics, and biomedical optics products and technologies, with two exhibitions and a comprehensive technical conference,” expecting 50,000 attendees and over 4000 technical papers, according to Rogers PES.
“Representatives from Rogers Power Electronics Solutions group will be at Photonics West Booth 309 to share insights on the company’s latest thermal management solutions, including its innovative curamik liquid and passive cooling products,” reports Rogers PES, “Rogers PES will also present its new CoolPerformance Plus cooler, which includes a ceramic isolation layer for CTE matching and separating the electrical contact from water. All of these coolers incorporate high-quality copper for excellent thermal conductivity and effective thermal management.”
In addition and in partnership with Advanced Cooling Technologies, “Rogers PES will present a report on ACT’s (unique vapor-deposited Applied Nanoscale Corrosion Resistant (ANCER™) coatings that help extend the operating life of micro-channel copper coolers for cooling laser diodes,” informs the company. This technical presentation will be on Tuesday, February 16, from 11:30 to 12:30 in the Demo Area 2 (Hall D North) and “will offer details on testing performed on the ANCER coatings and how they provide effective protection for Rogers curamik and other thermal management products and materials.”
Rogers PES also offers a Design Support Hub to design engineers that includes technical papers, videos, and PES University training programs.
